2017 NFL Draft Results - NFC North

  • These are the results from running the actual 2017 NFL Draft through the First-Pick.com draft game.
  • The breakdown is divided into four parts: Selection, Player Value, Future Picks, and Overall score/grade.
  • Selection grade is based on how well the team did given its draft picks. Each team has equal chance to score well.
  • Player Value grade is based on the quality of players the teams accumulated through the draft. A team with more picks will have a great chance of accumulating more value.
  • Future Pick grade is based on how well each team did in obtaining picks in future NFL drafts.
  • Overall score/grade is a combination of the scores for an overall assessment.
  • Grades were normalized for each section such that the highest grade a team could achieve is an A+ and the lowest is a D-. As a result a team's three individual grades will NOT directly correate to the letter grade for their overall score. For example, there are 4 overall A+'s, but only one individual A+ per category other than overall. This means that the difference between these teams and the others only increased when you tallied all of the scores.
